Art and Literature
My love for the Arts and Literature inspired my career. In my native France, I studied Comparative Literature and graduated with a Master’s degree in Art and Literature from the University of Paris-Nanterre.
Music Studies
Moving to Canada, I studied singing at the University of Montreal and the University of Toronto and obtained a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance. I became a singer and vocal teacher. Gradually, I realised the critical significance of the psychological aspect of performance and wanted to help artists deal with stage fright and various other creative blocks.
Psychology of Performance
I studied yoga and meditation intensively at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Lenox (Massachusetts), becoming a certified yoga teacher in 1996. I began to develop workshops and classes entitled Performance without Fear. These classes and workshops were offered to music schools, universities and in private sessions.
In 1998, I published a booklet: An Island of Serenity: a Practical Guide to Relaxation and Well-Being.
Jungian Analysis
I felt a need to deepen my own personal inner work and chose to work with a Jungian Analyst. Subsequently, I entered the Analyst Training Program at the C.G. Jung Foundation of Ontario. I completed my clinical internship at the Center for Addiction and Mental Health and at the Humber River Regional Hospital in Toronto. I became a certified Jungian Analyst in 2009.
My practice is situated in the west-end of Toronto and is easily accessible for people from Toronto and the GTA, especially from Etobicoke, Mississauga and Oakville.
